New Baby

This is a card I made for some friends who recently had their 2nd baby boy.  He is super cute, (no really, he is a cutie, not all newborns are).  I was so excited to have been the winner of 3 new Dilly Beans images as challenge winner recently.  One of the ones I picked is #421 Hooter Framed.  I just love owls, and Megan's are totally adorable and fun.  The new momma like birds a lot too, so this was perfect!  I kept this relatively simple.  I did try to mimic some of Megan's recent owl paintings, which is where the stamp originated.  He is colored with Copics, with glossy accents added to his eyes, and some Eucalyptus Stickles added to his spots.  I used a white Gelly Roll pen to add some highlights, and a touch of a glitter pen here and there.
Paper:  Recollections - Bright Lights Big City "Marque".
Embellies:  Michaels ribbon, Jolee's Boutique dimensional stickers "Felt Acorns", Queen & Co black pearls.
I am going to enter in the new Dilly Beans challenge for this week "Fabric and Fibers"
Seeing a newborn makes me realize how fast time has gone since my little guy was a baby.  It is so much fun when they are older and able to communicate and interact, but I do so miss the days of long, quiet, blissful snuggles together.
Hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend!
