Corrosive Challenge #153 - Sentimentally Yours

This week at the Corrosive Challenge we are looking for a sentiment on the front of your card.  A lot of times I either run out of room on my card, or feel it just looks too cluttered with a sentiment.  But sometimes, the sentiment can make the card.  Our sponsor this month is Graphicat Designs, who offer a wide range of stamps, digis, embellies and papers.  Most of the digis are sentiments that are very diverse, and many of them are quite funny.  I decided to use this Hockey themed one for a card for my hockey-loving hubby. He loves following the Bruins (I think he may be just starting to get over them not making it past the 1st round of playoffs this year), and he also plays on a mens league one night a week (although I think he would play every night if he could!).  Here is a closeup of the sentiment.
The image is Hockey from Kenny K, I love their images, so fun and definitely some sexy ones too.  He is colored with copics, and popped up with foam dots.  I added some Inkssentials Glossy Accents to his helmet and the band-aid.  I also thought it was appropriate to incorporate a bottle cap, because really, what's a hockey game without beer?
Sketch # 162 The Sweet Stop

Come on over and join us at The Corrosive Challenge, and if you need any help coming up with a sentiment, be sure to check out our sponsor graphicatstamps.com for some inspiration!  They also have some awesome sketches to play along with at the Graphicat Designs Challenges.  I was trying to get a little ahead, so didn't use it, but check it out, it's a good one that I will definitely keep on file for future use.

Very cool card - love the sentiment (though I don't think I've met it this side of the Atlantic!)...
