Another Sunday, time for another Corrosive Challenge! This week and for the month of May we have a new sponsor the awesome Tickled Pink Stamps. These images are so versatile, they range from vintage to romantic to funky to just super sweet. The challenge for this week is to use Tim Holtz products on your card, which probably won't be too difficult, since I suspect most of us probably have something in our stash from "The Man". I opted for using one of the Idea-ology Adage Tickets, I love these things! The image is Easter Pinkette Daisy August, she is just so stinkin' cute. My niece Samantha will be turning 7 (what!) in May, so I thought this would be perfect for her. She is very smart, and began reading at a very young age, she reads at a far more advanced level than most of her peers. She can be a girly girl too so I decided to go totally pink and girly for the card. The sketch is an older one # 171 from Sketch Saturday:
I knew I had the banner sticker on hand (a Recollections dimensional sticker), so this was perfect! The image is colored with Copics, fussy cut and popped up with foam squares. She is mounted on squares with corners rounded off using a punch, and those are placed on a "Lacy Square" cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities die cut. The leaves for the flower are also from a punch. The paper is from stash, and didn't have the name on it, it's just a cute pink gingham pattern.
Other Embellishments: Martha Stewart Quilled Butterfly sticker, Recollections pearl flourish, Polka dot flower - Recollections floral embellishment, and the cloth brad from stash (I think I found them at Big Lots).
Thanks so much for stopping by, and come on and play with us over at The Corrosive Challenge Blog! Can't wait to see what you come up with.
And because I can't resist (lol), I'll enter in the Dilly Beans - Pastel Pallette challenge.
