Hello again. I've been a little behind on my duties lately. Last week was a long and sad one for me and my family. We had found out last Sunday that my cousin Shawn who was only 40 passed away in his sleep. He was a tough guy on the outside, but he was really just a big teddy bear who would do anything for anyone, anytime. We were very close when we were younger, he baby sat me, and I just adored him and followed him around like a little puppy dog. The number of people that came to the wake, and left heartfelt messages was just overwhelming. He will be deeply missed, and we're all still processing everything. But we have each other, and lots of very funny and fond memories.
Aside from that, it's been so horribly cold, I just can't wait for this winter to be over! At least February has a holiday that's conducive to snuggling up and staying warm. What better sponsor could we have for our new challenge, "Feel the Love" - create a Valentine's Day project for the upcoming holiday. I worked with Wednesday Sara Addams for a darker, funnier card.
I had an idea in my mind for this one, and just winged it. The sentiment was computer generated. She is colored with Copics, and I made the stick pin. Supplies were all from stash.

This is so fun and funny! Great card! Thanks for the kind comment on my blog on my moms 80th photo bouquet. I think I used scortape to attach the flowers to the straws but you could use zip dry or tombow mono multi or even pop dots or glue dots. Have fun!
