Things Are Looking Grimm

Once upon a time...there was another challenge at The Corrosive Challenge Blog and what a fun one it is!  This week the task at hand is to create a project based on a fairy tale, fable, or children's story.  I chose to use Little Red Riding Hood Honey from our awesome Sponsor this month, Sassy Studio Designs.  I like all the Sassy images, but I have to say the Little Honeys are my favorite.  They are the perfect mix of sweet and sexy.  Here is a closeup of the sentiment, a quote from Hans Christian Andersen.
Papers used are Felicity by Basic Grey, Pearls - Burgundy by Foundations and the red flowery paper was part of the stash gifted to me by me neighbor.  Flowers are Twisted Flowers by BBP bought at Hanscom Air Force Base Military Exchange store, they actually have a decent little section of paper crafting supplies.  One perk of being a military family is being able to shop at the base stores that often have some great deals both on groceries and on more "unessential" items (like crafting supplies).  Sketch is from from Week # 193 at Sketch Saturday.
I decided to give this as a Birthday card to my Aunt who is a recent Breast Cancer survivor.  I thought the sentiment was fitting, and hope that she will remain cancer free.  It is so inspiring to witness someone fight through and conquer such a sucky thing.  Shout out to all you survivors out there!
Thanks so much for visiting, and can't wait to see your fairytale creations at The Corrosive Challenge.

This looks great Jasmine, brilliant quote to put with it, too. Lovely coloring. Your aunt will love it, so sweet of you.
